Wine-Specific Conditions

Legal Requirements

You must be 19 years of age or older, to order or receive alcoholic beverages from Blue Mountain Winery. Receipt of shipments containing alcoholic beverages requires the signature of a sober adult (a person 19 years of age or older who is not intoxicated). Wines purchased from Blue Mountain Winery are not for resale, and are for personal consumption only.

Credit Card Charges

Orders are by credit card only. We accept Visa and MasterCard.

Minimum Purchase

No minimum purchase is required, except for shipping: Blue Mountain must ship in multiples of 6 bottles.

Provinces Authorized for Direct Shipment

Due to the ever-changing nature of wine shipping laws, we may be able to ship wines, directly or indirectly, to all provinces. If we are unable to ship to your area, we will notify you as soon as possible and confirm any other shipment options. We are unable to ship outside of Canada.

Shipping Costs & Policies

ATS Healthcare is Blue Mountain Vineyard and Cellars’ carrier of choice. Ground shipping is provided at current market rates. They utilize temperature-controlled trucks to ensure that your wine arrives in good order. As soon as your order leaves the winery, you will receive a tracking number email to follow your wine right to your door!

Should you have any shipping requirements or details, please include them in the order notes when processing your online order, or contact the winery directly. If you require a specific delivery time with specific delivery instructions, ATS can contact you to arrange a delivery appointment however additional charges may apply.

For rural and remote deliveries or PO Boxes, we have opted to use Canada Post as our preferred shipper.

To receive wine, someone over the age of 19 must be available to sign for the order at point of delivery. We are not able to leave wine without signature unless specified as special delivery instructions at the time of placing your order. Once your wine order is picked up by our courier for delivery, the purchaser assumes full responsibility for the wine, including shipments delivered without a signature. If no one is available to accept delivery, ATS will leave a notice with details on how to arrange a redelivery or how to pick up your wine at the local depot. ATS will keep undelivered wine in their temperature-controlled facilities for up to 2 weeks. After that, the wine may be returned to the winery, at which point additional shipping costs may be charged.

Wine is a Delicate Commodity

Wine is a perishable commodity. Wine does not like extremes of temperature: hot humid summer and cold winter weather may adversely affect the condition of your wine during shipment. Blue Mountain Winery is not responsible for, and will not replace wine that is damaged by extreme weather conditions during shipment. When your wine order is picked up by the common carrier for delivery, responsibility for the wine becomes the responsibility of the purchaser.
