Blue Mountain Vineyard and Cellars | 2024 Vintage Update

Spring News and Vineyard Update:

With the return of our seasonal team and the warmth of spring in the air, there’s a renewed sense of energy across the vineyard. Bud break is just a few weeks away, and the estate is beginning to hum with activity once again.

As many of you know, the extreme cold weather event in January of last year significantly impacted our 2024 harvest, resulting in very little fruit harvested. However, the best news is that we have no intention of replanting due to vine death—our vineyard remains strong and resilient.

Staying true to our philosophy of estate-grown production, we made the deliberate choice not to source fruit from outside the property. As a result, there will be no wines produced from the 2024 vintage—a humbling but necessary choice that reflects our commitment to staying true to our values, even in the most challenging years. While we anticipate a smaller crop this year as the vines continue to recover, thoughtful planning ensures that we will have wine available in the years ahead.

We’re excited to share several upcoming releases with you this year, including our Estate Cuvée Chardonnay in May, Reserve Cuvée Pinot Noir and Reserve Cuvée Chardonnay in August, and our sparkling wines—including the much-anticipated Blanc de Blancs—this October.

Thank you, as always, for being a part of our loyal wine family. Your support and loyalty mean everything to us, and we look forward to sharing another beautiful season at Blue Mountain with you.
